Mosaic Life Family,
As I was thinking upon the upcoming moedim [the seven biblical festivals] I had thoughts of a theme to tie them together. I sat in front of my fireplace staring into the flame and warmth it produced. I tried to focus on the one thing he, Yahweh, wanted to communicate for this upcoming year of festivals. I approached him in prayer and opened my mind to his promptings. As my thoughts started to come together, I will admit, I am excited to see what and who Yahweh will bring together. We engage our father and try to worship him in a day of “media bites” and secular television communicators, who have polished the art of capturing and keeping our attention. We have something given to us far more than mere information or entertainment. We, the believers of the Way, need to know that the moedim are crucial for our lives, now and for eternity. Since we are not simply proclaiming our views, but celebrating Yahweh and his good news, we should burst with excitement for his return and conviction that time is drawing near! This truth has had an impact on our lives. We Believe, Yeshua our King is returning! In the ancient world, a king sent messengers ahead to announce, “The king is coming! The king is coming!” This gave people time to prepare gifts, spruce up the city, set the banquet table, and get ready for royalty. Prepare the highway for the king’s arrival, smoothing rough places, and removing obstacles. Let’s prepare our lives for the King of Kings!
