We Believe

 

We believe the God of the Bible to be the Creator of all things. He established the patterns of nature (seasons), the appointed times for festivals (moedim) and established a law / teaching (Torah) that would be everlasting.

 

We believe the complete Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired, infallible, Word of God. It is this authority we hold to be doctrinal truth and shows us the proper way to live, worship and obey Yahweh (God).

 

We believe The Torah was not given for salvation or to earn favor with God.

We do believe it was given as an instruction guide from a loving God to show his people how to live fulfilling and righteous lives. Keeping his commandments is considered the same as loving Him. It is as active today as when it was given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

 

 We believe the New Testament is not a separate document unrelated to the Old Testament, but rather a continuation of the Old Testament, making one whole collection of writings we call the Bible.

 

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth to be the one true Messiah, who was born of a virgin, through the power of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). Yeshua was born in the flesh and lived a sinless life. We believe in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory, as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

 

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Yeshua from the dead.  Because of the sin of man, the creator cursed men with death and since the creator imposed the law of death, it is only through him that the curse of death can be changed. Our faith in Yeshua (Jesus), who conquered death, gives everlasting life to those who believe and have faith in him. We also believe, those who do not have faith in Yeshua (Jesus) will be sent to an eternal separation from God. Without faith in Yeshua, sinful man does not receive eternal life.

 

 

We believe that the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is given and indwells in believers to lead, teach and guide us, in doing Gods will. The Holy Spirit will comfort us and give us counsel when we are in need. We know we are being led by the Spirit when there is "fruit" in our life (our attitudes and actions). Galatians 5:22-23 says, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." The gifts of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) are still available and operative in the lives of those who have given their life to God. The Spirit (Ruach) continues to write God’s law (Torah) on the hearts of the people who love Him.

 

We believe all (Jew and the Gentile) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. All need the salvation, Yeshua provided by the grace of Yahweh (God) through his redeeming blood covenant made for all who desire to follow him. Salvation is by faith alone and not through any works we have done.  By this faith we are grafted into the olive tree of Israel. We are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.  This salvation is evidenced by having a heart that is circumcised with a desire to love and obey his commandments.

 

We believe that the weekly Sabbath (a day of rest), keeping the annual Feasts (moedim) of the Lord (Yahweh) and adhering to a biblical diet are “statutes forever” and should be celebrated by the body of believers in Yeshua to the best of our understanding.

 

 

"We believe that the term 'marriage' has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture and through the example of Adam and Eve.

"We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no one be engaged in sexual activity outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

"We believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography or any attempt to change one's sex, or disagreement with one's biological sex, is sinful and offensive to Yahweh (God).
